Overview
A real diagnosis is not just a label or a statement of symptoms. A real diagnosis describes why the body has lost its natural ability to heal.
Afferentology is a clinical diagnostic and treatment approach for physical medicine practitioners where we measure the output of the nervous system and restore it to normal by removing abnormal afferent input.
In practice, we find weaknesses and fix them, thereby restoring strength to the whole.
We are going to cover techniques that allow you to distill complex and multiple weaknesses down to one problem, making it much easier to treat complex and chronic patients.
You will learn how to assess muscles in a way that tests for strength and power. This is very different from all other types of muscle testing. If you've been taught muscle testing elsewhere, I highly recommend you at least try to emulate what I'm showing you here.
You can't fix what you can't find, so the first part of this course is all about finding weaknesses, and from there I will show you how to fix them using your existing treatment techniques, plus how to introduce new techniques I have found most useful for creating change to afferent input.
One of the issues with a self-guided course is completion. I know, life gets in the way of the best of intentions.
Hopefully, you will able to implement and practice as you go but you will get the occasional prompting email to help you keep going.
If you have any issues or problems with the online course or need help putting it into practice, please email me at info@afferentology.org.
Enjoy the course and I look forward to catching up soon.
